Passion for Tuscany: treasures from off the beaten track for a Tuscan holiday
I want to take you off the beaten track into the depths of my Tuscany and show it to you from a very personal point of view.
You may already share this passion, or you may be just thinking about taking your first holiday in Tuscany.
Whichever it is, this enchanted region in the centre of Italy has so much to offer in a multitude of ways.
From the leaning tower of Pisa to Michelangelo’s David in Florence, there are many famous attractions that count amongst the most well known sights in Europe and are the inspiration for most people’s first visit here.
But there is so much more to see and do in this fabled region besides the already famous and well-documented.
On this website I plan to tell you about my ‘all time favourites’ , keep you up-to-date with ‘what’s new & wonderful’ as well as some ‘general facts & info’ that could be useful when planning your trip and while you’re here.
I took a holiday in Tuscany and now I live here, having spent 12 years restoring an abandoned, ruined old farmhouse in Tuscany.
…..this is now home, and it makes me feel like a Bumble Bee on a Borage Flower.
How would you like to try it out?
Let my passion and years of beating a path to Tuscany add to the fun of your preparation and research and enjoyment in a dream getaway.
Discover the undiscovered, the unusual and the unexpected - it may be a building, a view, a walk, a café, a butcher, a market, a garden or a book.
